Lancaster is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Lancaster follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I am not a resident of Lancaster; however, I had to have my sons Jeep towed to Rusty at AAMCO due to another place telling me it had a transmission code come up. From the beginning, Rusty (the manager) was extremely pleasant and open with me regarding my car. He was up front about what he would need to do along with the cost so I was able to approve it before he even touched my vehicle. Upon diagnosing the problem, they actually found no problems with my vehicle and he even explained all of the tests his staff (and himself) had done on the car. In my opinion, if this guy wanted my money, he could have. However, he did not and I truly appreciated his honesty. He explained to me what may have happened to have triggered the "check engine" light to come on, but it has been off the entire time Rusty had the vehicle. My son and I picked it up and it has been running smoothly with zero problems! I cannot thank Rusty enough for his honesty, attention to detail, kindness and helpfulness. Great customer value here!

If they had the worst Mechanic title in the world, this would be the office I would pick I went in there with the check engine light on my vehicle. The gentleman did a diagnostic on my vehicle. Try to tell me that it was gonna cost me over $3000 to rebuild and re-fix my entire car due to an engine issue then when I told him I wanted a second opinion, he told me if I came back with the amount that he would have to charge me would increase because the price of parts change his day by day. Funny I went to another Mechanic did a diagnostic on it. I was able to fix it in the exact same day and only cost me $200. Rusty is a scam and the fact that it took him three days to do a diagnostic on a vehicle is insane. No wonder he gets such bad reviews. I would advise anybody and everybody not to trust. Trust him. I always got a second opinion and go to another another shop. The worst worst service I've ever ever ever had from a company.

This is Chris Jackson, a mechanic and father of seven. My daughter who is in flight school in Lancaster, PA. called home with a concern with her racing engine and it seemed to me that it may be transmission trouble related to low fluid. I recommended she go to an oil change place and have them check her fluids. The tech was nice enough to check and top fluids at no charge. This however only solved the problem for a week and we were forced to drop the car off at a Transmission location in the area. They were quick to condemn the transmission and give me a replacement price for between $5100 and $6100. Certainly not what dear old dad wants to hear while paying 200/hr for flight lessons on a Honda that was under 100k mi. I contacted Rusty @ AAMCO over the Christmas holiday for a second opinion. After a quoted fee for diagnosis, Rusty thought it merely needed a new fill cap and topping off of fluid. Once he got it up on the lift to dig deeper into the problem, he realized his initial diagnosis was wanting and found a broken pressure switch. I would have hoped he saw this initially but being in business my self, I too have made inadequate diagnosis, esp. when there is something more ob
